Dymension is an innovative network of modular blockchains, known for its implementation of RollApps: app-specific roll-ups. These RollApps, built through Dymension's RollApp Development Kit (RDK), draw inspiration from the Cosmos ecosystem, which introduced the successful Cosmos SDK. They serve as a Layer 2 scaling solution that enables off-chain transactions, reducing congestion and increasing transaction speed. All RollApps connect to the Dymension Hub, the core of the network, providing consensus, security, and liquidity, acting as a router to this "Internet of Rollups."
Led by Yishay Harel and Barry Kuts, the Dymension team has earned respect and backing from prominent figures like Celestia.
Dymension has raised $6.7 million. Big Brain Holdings and Stratos led the round, with participation from Matchbox DAO, Shalom Meckenzie of DraftKings, among others.
